Personal Portfolio: Evaluation

I still believe that I have made the right decision to use WordPress to create my personal portfolio website.  I have learnt a great deal about HTML and CSS that I would not have learnt had I used Flash to create my site. If I had created the site using Dreamweaver I would have missed out on the functionality of having a WordPress back-end which enables content to be changed and added easily. Having learnt how to create a theme from scratch I would now seriously consider designing more themes for myself and potential clients.

Interactive Touch Screen Prototype – Evaluation

As part of our current assignment we have to evaluate the touch screen prototypes that we have created.  This will be followed up with some user testing and evaluation at college this week.

I am going to use the structure that I have adopted for my user questionnaire for my evaluation so that eventually I can compare the results of the questionnaire/survey  against my own evaluation.

Purpose

York Art Gallery is situated in the city centre of York and is free of charge to visitors. Given York’s popularity as a tourist destination the gallery could attract a broad spectrum of visitors, but after a recent visit I am convinced that most of these visitors would be adults with an interest in art and different cultures.  Thus, I have targeted this interactive prototype primarily at adults.
